Ferrari FXX K, un bolide ibrido tutto da scoprire

Tecnologia ibrida e performance estreme sono due concetti che normalmente viaggiano su due piste diverse. I progettisti della Ferrari Fxx K però hanno accettato una sfida entusiasmante: proporre un bolide, disponibile in 40 esemplari, che sfrutta la doppia alimentazione benzina-elettrica. Una vettura ibrida capace di stupire anche il primo pilota della Scuderia Ferrari, Sebastian Vettel.

Specifiche tecniche

Un gioiello dell’ingegneria meccanica venduto al prezzo di 2,5 milioni di euro. Una cifra esorbitante, motivata dal concentrato tecnologico racchiuso nella vettura. Scopriamola.

La doppia alimentazione, a benzina ed elettrica, fornisce alla Fxx K 1050 cavalli, 860 provenienti dal motore V12 e 190 erogati dal motore elettrico. Una vera potenza, che permette al fortunato piltota di schizzare da 0 a 100 km/h in meno di 3 secondi.

Curiosità

La vettura è erede di un prototipo risalente al 2005, la Ferrari FXX. Rispetto ad esso però la FXX K ha in più la tecnologia Kers, da cui deriva la lettera “k”. Questo sistema consente di recuperare l’energia cinetica, accumulata durante il movimento dell’auto, e di utilizzarla per massimizzare le performance in pista.

La novità di casa Ferrari però non può essere guidato né su strada né per eventi sportivi. I vertici di Maranello hanno giustificato la scelta spiegando che il fine, attuale, del progetto è garantire libertà di azione agli ingegneri che utilizzeranno le Fxx K prodotte come laboratori mobili. I proprietari delle vetture, dunque, saranno “utilizzati” come collaudatori e i dati raccolti nelle prove, effettuate in tutto il mondo, verrà utilizzato per compiere progressi nel campo della tecnologia ibrida.

Tra le curiosità più interessanti vi sono le gomme speciali Pirelli, equipaggiate di sensori che rilevano e registrano i comportamenti dei pneumatici sull’asfalto.
